CJSCZERYE is a village in the Uglich district of the Yaroslavl region. It has been known since the 15th century. Mentioned in the "Chronicle of the village of Zaozerye" priest M.A. Mirolyubov in 1913. and called Swamp in the "Poshekhonskoy antiquity" M. E. Saltykov-Shchedrin. Zaozerye was the patrimony of the princes Volkonsky and Odoevsky. In the village was also the estate of the Saltykov noblemen. Originally belonged to the Kistemsky camp of Pereslavl-Zalessky district.
